The properties held for the benefit of Eastern Caribbean policyholders were sold to the Government of Barbados in exchange for Series J Government Bonds. As of May 12, 2023, the court approved the sale of these bonds for BBD 29.6 million. The funds from this sale are held in escrow and will be divided proportionally among participating Eastern Caribbean territories.
