We wish to inform Grenada policyholders that transfers to some policyholders commenced on December 18, 2025, and we are actively continuing the process of making further transfers to policyholders who have satisfied their requirements.

We kindly ask policyholders to exercise patience during this period. Due to the high volume of emails received, responses may take some time; however, please be assured that all submissions and information are being carefully reviewed. Our dedicated staff will reach out to you if additional information is required. A delay in response does not mean that your matter is not being addressed.

TO GRENADA POLICYHOLDERS AND OTHER CLAIMANTS OF CLICO INTERNATIONAL LIFE (CIL)

Ikins D Clarke and Patrick B Toppin, Judicial Managers of CIL, wish to update policyholders and claimants against the estate of CIL with respect to the status of the CIL distribution plan for Grenada.

All policyholders with active policies and/or outstanding claims as of November 30, 2014, will receive a personalized letter from CIL at their last known mailing address. This letter will confirm individual policy or claim details.

In addition, a summary of the scheme of distribution is available on www.clicolife.com. It was published in the September 5, 2025 online editions of The New Today (www.thenewtodaygrenada.com) and The Grenada Informer (www.thegrenadainformer.com).

If you were an active policyholder or claimant as of November 30, 2014, and have not received your personalized letter by October 31, 2025, you must contact the Judicial Managers’ representatives to confirm or update your policy information. You may reach us via:

If your contact information and/or mailing address has changed, please call our hotline to schedule an appointment. When attending your appointment, we require the following identification and information to verify your contact details and process your distribution payment:

  • A valid photo ID (e.g., driver’s license, national ID card, or passport)
  • Recent proof of address (e.g., utility bill)
  • Your banking details

In accordance with the Order of the Grenada Court dated May 12, 2025, if you disagree with the policy or claim information provided, you must contact Judicial Managers’ representatives before the close of business on January 31, 2026. Failure to do so will be taken as your acceptance of the policy and/or claim amounts as recorded in CIL’s official records.

The Judicial Managers are actively working towards distributing the Distribution Sum based on the portion of EC policyholder liabilities attributed to Grenada.
